Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Thimphu sightseeing

  Pick up from Paro airport and transfer directly to Thimphu which is the capital and largest city of Bhutan. It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan and has many tourist attractions such as Memorial Chorten (Buddhist stupa), traditional weaving center, Taken zoo, 51 feet Buddha statue and Tashi cho Dzong (Fortress). After sightseeing check in hotel and dinner.

  • Meals & Drinks Continental buffet with some traditional Bhutanese item for lunch and dinner.
• Day 2 : Punakha sightseeing

  Day2: The day will start at 8 am in the morning with a continental buffet breakfast, after breakfast head to Punakha which was the capital of Bhutan and the seat of government until 1955, when the capital was moved to Thimphu. It is about 72 km away from Thimphu and it takes about 3 hours by car from the capital Thimphu. Unlike Thimphu it is quite warm in winter and hot in summer. It is located at an elevation of 1,200 metres above sea level and rice is grown as the main crop along the river valleys of two main rivers of Bhutan, the Pho Chu and Mo Chu. Dzongkha is widely spoken in this district. After sightseeing, check in Hotel and dinner.

• Day 3 : Paro sightseeing

  Day 3: After the morning breakfast, drive toward Paro which is a small town in Bhutan which is located about 2 hours drive from the capital and is considered as one of the most historical district in Bhutan. On arrival to Paro day sightseeing at Paro Dzong (Fortress) and Dungtshe Lhakhang (Buddhist temple)

• Day 4 : Taksang temple visit (tiger's nest hike)

  Day 4: After breakfast, 2 hours trek towards an ancient Buddhist temple which is one of the major highlight in Bhutan and it is located on a cliff side which elevates to about 3000-4000 meter above sea level popularly known as the 'Tiger's nest' or Taktsang monastery. After lunch there will be a free time for the guest to walk around paro town.
