Geography : Parts of Burundi are situated in the Albertine Rift and the East African Rift while the country is situated on a rolling plateau. Burundi is situated in the region of the Great Lakes and with the Lake Victoria, Ruvyironza River, Lake Victoria and the Kargega River flowing through the country. Most of Burundi’s lands are agricultural.
Climate : Burundi has an Equatorial climate with the average temperature of the hilly areas being lower than that of the plains. There are two distinct seasons in Burundi: the wet season and the dry season.
Tourist Attractions : The lakes of Burundi and the beach are popular tourist destinations. The most popular among the lakes is Lake Tanganyika which is a major tourist attraction.
