The Central African Republic is 42nd largest country in the world.
Geography : Flat or rolling plateau savanna comprises most of the land, of which the northern half lies in the World Wildlife Fund’s East Sudanian Savanna Ecoregion. Much of the landscape is marked by hills, forests and the tributaries of the Congo River and Mbomou River.
Climate : The Central African Republic has a tropical climate with hot and dry winds coming in from the desert at the northeast. The average amount of rainfall is about 178 cm annually in the south and decreases towards the desert area of the northeast.
