Resort/Home Stay - at The Foot Hills of Kemmangundi in Chikmaglur District (Capacity Up To 35 Guests or Tourists or Up To 6 Couples.
We have about 8 permanent staff which includes a driver with jeep,cook,guide and other hospitality staff to attend to the needs of the guests. Tariffs are competitive with ones charged by the nearby home stays or resorts. We have 600 liter hot water tank for 24 hour hot water supply, brand new 3 KVA generator as back up power and 6 bore wells for sufficient water. (There will be additional ups back up system for an uninterrupted 24 hour power supply). The Home Stay is located very close to Ballavara with plenty of shops, with both public and private transportation readily available. Within the next 3 months the following activities are planned and will be available free of cost to all our guests. Pool Tables, Table Tennis or ping pong, Frisbee, chess, dart boards,fishing,bycycling, Horse shoe game, Archery, bow and cross bow,Air rifle practice and target shooting, the latest in WII, nintendo games, a library of close to 3,000 movies to include English,Tamil,Kannada and Telugu. All these will be provided free of cost for those who would like to and have the time to take part in these leisurely activities (coming soon). Within the next three months the units will have 32" flat screen televisions, and small refrigerators along with fiber optic internet connections, there will be 4 tents where each tent will accommodate up to 9 people with sleeping bags and lanterns for those that are budget and adventure minded.
