Bagh Rauza is a historical tourist attraction in the city of Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. It is a garden that houses the mausoleum of Ahmed Nizam Shah, the founder of Nizam Shahi dynasty and the city of Ahmednagar. Built in the Islamic style of architecture, this mausoleum stands amid the lush green surroundings. The garden around it gives it the nickname ‘Garden of Shrine’ as this mausoleum carries the verses from the Holy Quran.

1) Bagh Rauza is a beautiful and vast garden in Ahmednagar. It is the place where the mausoleums of the Nizam Shahi family members are located.
2) The biggest and most impressing mausoleum belongs to Ahmed Nizam Shah. It is built in the Islamic style of architecture and carries the Quranic verses.
3) All tombs reflect the Mughal and Persian style of architecture, especially from the dome of each tomb. To enhance the beauty of Bagh Rauza and show respects to the deceased, beautiful cenotaphs are also built in its vicinity.
4) This place also has a special tomb that is dedicated to a brave royal elephant of Ahmed Nizam Shah. It was martyred while battling the army of the Maharaja of Vijaynagar.
