Kanakeshwar Devasthan Temple

Kanakeshwar Devasthan Temple needs no formal introduction. It is a famous temple of Lord Shiva, the slayer of the ghouls and stands on a hilltop located 12 km from Alibag. This Hindu shrine was built in the 16th century under the reign of the Hoysala dynasty.
