Anerdam Wildlife Sanctuary is located among the south-western Satpura ranges. It falls under the Shirpur Tehsil in the district of Dhule. The sanctuary has a border with yawal sanctuary and various other sanctuaries located in Madhya Pradesh.
Flora : The place is very rich natural vegetation cover and mostly comprises of scrub forests. Some of the trees found here are Babul, Bel, Palas, Salaia, Khair, Terminenalia, Hiwar etc. Some of the common shrubs are Kusal, Bhuri, Kusali, Vitex Nigundo, Solanium Giganteum, Lantna, Zizphus Helicteres Isora and many more.
Fauna : The sanctuary holds a large number of animals like Barking Deer, Hares, Porcupines, Chikaras, and Monitor Lizard etc. There are various animals that migrate to this place like Jackal, Hyenas, Wolves, Wild boars etc.
Avifauna : One can also see various species of birds that comprises of both domestic as well as migratory birds. Some of the commonly seen birds are Egrets, Peafs, Herons, Corts, Eagles, Stokes, Waders, Owls, Brahming ducks, Cormorants, Qualis etc.
