No special presentation is required for Bandhavgarh. It is a well-known national park that lies in the city of Umaria in Madhya Pradesh. The name of the park is derived from the hillock that is situated nearby. It is said that this hillock was a major place in the times of Ramayana as many animals joined the army of Lord Rama. Bandhavgarh is elevated 530 feet above the sea level and spreads across 1500 km. sq. It covers the joint area of the woods of Umaria and Katni. A major portion of its land is a jagged plain and lush green vegetation encircles its vicinity. It is fed by the waters of 3 rivers known as Sone, Johilla, and Umrar. The climate of Badhavgarh's region is described as subtropical in nature. It faces searing summers as the median temperature rises beyond 38°C on an average. The winter season is a pleasant season as the mercury levels fall down as rest at 9°C.
