Bhilai Steel Plant doesn’t require an introduction. It lies in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh and known as the first producer of many steel products in India. The foundation brick of this steel plant was laid in 1955 with the assistance of Russia. In the same year the Indian and Russian government signed an agreement to establish this steel plant. It contained a special condition of producing at least one million tons of steel annually.
