Mungeli Maa Mahamaya Temple aka Maa Mahamaya Temple is a famous Hindu temple in Bilaspur. This Hindu temple is one of the 52 Shakti Peethas in India and enshrines the combined form of Goddesses Lakshmi and Saraswati. The combined powers of Goddess Lakshmi and Saraswati gave birth to Goddess Mahamaya.

Maa Mahamaya Temple is a well-known temple in Bilaspur because of its ancient Hindu Nagara architecture. It was constructed between 12th-13th centuries by King Ratandeva of Kalachuri dynasty. The entire structure is magnificent and catches the sight immediately. Inside the sanctum, the idol of the goddess is placed and is worshiped by the devotees on a huge scale.
