Ayyappa Temple is a famous temple dedicated to the Lord Ayyappa Swamy and located in the heart of the city of steel. Established on 11 July 1983, this temple serves as a serene religious place, where devotees can not only pray but also meditate. Lord Ayyappa is also referred as Sri Dharma Sastha by their devout followers, and apart from Lord Ayyappa the temple also houses idols of several other deities including Lord Siva, Vishnu, Ganesha, Kartikeya and to name a few.

1) The architecture of this temple has been immensely praised by the devotees and the visitors alike. The temple architecture basically resembles the Bengali architecture from the East.

One can ensure a pleasant arrival and stay in the Bokaro city throughout the year. However, the best time to visit the city, which houses the Ayyappa Temple, is from October to March.
