The wives of all these three Lords were waiting impatiently about the outcome of their instruction. When they arrived and discovered what had transpired between the Lords and Anusuya, they felt bad for harboring such ill thoughts against Sati Anusuya.

All these three Lords then had born to Anusuya as her sons by the name Soma, Durvas, and Dattatreya.

According to historians, another story also became popular that was associated with Anusuya. Chitrakoot failed to get any rains for many years. And, it led to a severe famine. In order to combat the situation, Sati Anusuya decided to pray and it was the immense power of her strong prayers that river Mandakini arrived on earth.
