Established by Jaggi Vasudev, a yoga guru & mystic, Dhyanalinga is a yogic temple in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This temple is entirely dedicated to practice meditation. Dhyanalinga, in itself, is a center that describes the purest form of the yogic science and meditation ever built in the country.
It Is Known For:-
1) Dhyanalinga is famous for its exclusive architecture. The entire structure is built using the fired bricks, cement, and mud mortar. No concrete or steel has been used for its construction
2) A Sarva dharma Stambha is located at the entrance of this temple. It is a pillar that has the symbols of all the religions carved on it. It includes the religious symbols of Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Jainism, Taoism, and Shinto that describe it as a universal welcome place
3) A holy pond called Theerthakund is situated within the premises and houses a lingam immersed in its water. It is claimed that this lingam is made up of the solidified mercury. The visitors have to take a dip in this pond before practicing meditation
