Jandri Ghat Palace is an intriguing and must-see travel destination in Chamba. It is located a few km from Dalhousie hill town and catches the attention of the various tourists on a huge scale. Jandri Ghat Palace has been the erstwhile residence of the royals of Chamba valley. It was built in the 18th century by Raja Gopal Singh. The prime reason for constructing the palace in this region was its visual charm and serenity.

Jandri Ghat Palace is popular for its amazing European style of architecture. It was built during the rule of the British in India. To maintain the harmonious relations with the British officials, his entire palace was constructed in the European architecture. After the end of the kingdom in Dalhousie, the Governor-general Lord Dalhousie was allotted this palace as his bungalow during his tenure as the Gg of the place. The interiors of the palace exhibit the ancient decoration in the European style and some trophies as well.
