Bahikhowa Maidam is one of the famous tourist attractions in Assam. It is located in Khowang Tea Estate of Dibrugarh. Bahikhowa Maidam is the final resting place of Bahikhowa Dasarath Dowerah, the army chief of the Ahom dynasty. The tomb stands in the memory of the army chief. The vast tea estate encircles the Bahikhowa Maidam and adds more charm to its appearance.

Bahikhowa Maidam is a mausoleum of Bahikhowa Dasarath Dowerah, the army chief of Ahoms. According to the legend, he was a courageous warrior and leader. The Ahom army didn’t lose any battle when he led a war. His sheer dedication was rewarded to him by building a mausoleum in Khowang.
Presently, it is a famous tea estate. The vast area of the tea estate is a huge attraction. Many people visit this place on a huge scale. Moreover, it serves as a great destination for photography.
