Lekai Chetia Maidam is one of the popular places in the Dibrugarh city of Assam (India). Maidam is widely known as the burial place of Lekai Chetia. Lekai Chetia was an officer who served the Ahom Kingdom that ruled Assam's Brahmaputra Valley from 1228 AD to 1826 AD. However, Lekai Chetia served specifically server during the reign of Swragodeo Pratapsingha in Ahom Kingdom.
