Dwaraka Tirumala

Dwaraka Tirumala is a town in the district of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. This temple is a famous Hindu shrine and is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. Dwaraka Tirumala is also known by the name of Chinna Tirupati that means Mini Tirupati. Just like the main shrine of Tirupati, this temple is also frequented by the pilgrims extensively.

The Legend Associated With Dwaraka Tirumala
An interesting legend is associated with this temple. A sage named Dwaraka successfully located the self-manifested idol of Lord Venkateswara after performing penance on the famous spot Ant Hill. This place is also known as the Vaikuntha Vasa of Kaliyuga.
