• By Rail- Gwalior Railway Station is located within the city limit. It lies on the main Delhi-Chennai and Delhi-Mumbai rail link. The Satabdi Express and Taj Express connect Agra and Delhi with Gwalior.
• By Road- Gwalior is well connected by roadways. It has good connectivity with all the major towns of Madhya Pradesh and the adjoining areas. Gwalior is connected to Agra which is at a distance of 118 km. It has good roadways to Mathura, Jhansi Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Chanderi, etc.

The museum remains open on all day of the week except Sunday. One can visit here between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The entry fee for this museum is Rs. 20 per person for Indians and Rs. 100 per person for foreigners.
