Shettihalli Church is a marvelous tourist attraction in the village of Shettihalli in Karnataka. It lies 200 km from the capital of Karnataka and draws visitors on a huge scale. 1) Shettihalli Church is also popular by the name of ‘Half-drowned Church’. Every year during monsoons, this church drowns in the waters that accumulate around it.

3) In the year 1960, after the construction of Hemavathi Dam, this church was abandoned. It is surrounded by a huge cragged grassy terrain that serves as a perfect spot for relishing a picnic.
