Bhadrakali Temple of Hazaribagh (Jharkhand, India) is a holy site and one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, which are spread across the Indian subcontinent. This 400 years old temple is located within the Itkori region of the Hazaribagh district, and it is surrounded by the lush green vegetation, where devotees come from different parts of India as well as abroad to pay homage to the deity.
It Is Known For:-
1) Raja Mahendra Pal, the king of Pala Dynasty of Bengal, built the idol Mata Bhadrakali nearly a century ago.
2) The temple was erected somewhere in during the 7th to 10th Century A.D.
3) This sacred Hindu temple was also revered by the followers of Jainism and Buddhism, as ASI excavated century old Jain idol from the site in 2012.
4) Buddha once came to Bhadrakali Temple and stayed here for a certain period.
Best Time to Visit:-
Hazaribagh, the main district, remains pleasant for arrival during October to March months. During the aforementioned period, it is neither scorching nor precipitated, and the temperature remains under 30 degrees Celcius mark, which further makes a visit to the temple comfortable and enjoyable.

Gaya has the nearest airport from Bhadrakali Temple, which is located at a distance of 70 Km from the temple. Apart from airways, the temple is well connected to roadways and railways links, which make reaching the temple convenient.
