History:
In 1868, Sawai Raja Pratap Singh has founded this Zoological Garden. His intention was dearth reprieve. According to the historical records found against this zoological garden, at that time, he invested an enormous amount of 4 lakhs in building this chronological garden. It is built on a massive 33 acres are of the core city. During the reign of Sawai Ram Singh II, this zoo got established. It was settled on the verdict of the ancient Shilpa Shastra.
