Availability
You can visit the Batseri village from Manali and from Shimla to reach the Kinnaur District. This village is largely unavailable during the winters. Snow fall starting from the months of October and November continues continuously through December, January, and February. Hence, the roads are inaccessible due to the heavy snow. So, it is not very easy to reach the Batseri village during this part of the year.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit any village in Kalpa would be no other than the months between May and September to Mid-October. However, it is also advisable to avoid traveling there during the monsoon months as there could be landslide due to continuous rain.
How to Reach
Batseri Village is one of the 109 villages that make up the Sangla block. It is situated at a distance of just one kilometer from the district center Reckong Peo. State government buses by HRTC ply regularly between Reckong Peo and state capital like Shimla and Manali. You can reach Shimla by air or by road and take this bus to reach Reckong Peo and then you can either walk or take a car or bike to reach Batseri village. Apart from that, the roads to Reckong Peo are now well-paved and the thrill-seekers can drive a car to here as well. Regular service of shared Sumo cars and other taxis is also another means to reach Batseri village. Once you have reached Reckong Peo, you need to walk a kilometer amidst the beautiful landscapes along the Baspa river to reach Batseri Village.

The best part about reach Batseri village is the path that takes one there. It is through a lush green landscape that is fringed by tall Deodar trees. You also need to cross a beautiful spring and a stunning natural bridge that is made with cantilevered wood logs to reach here.
