Kota Barrage is a famous tourist attraction in Rajasthan. It is a water barrage and earthen dam listed under the Chambal Valley Project. It stands on the river Chambal with a total area of 27,332 sq. km. The construction of the dam was completed in the year 1960. This barrage has 19 gates for controlling the flow of the water.
