Manji Sahib Gurudwara is a famous Sikh pilgrimage site in Alamgir district of Ludhiana. It was the place where Shri Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs rested for a while. According to a legend, he was tired and rested at this place. When he couldn’t find water, he shot an arrow on earth and from there emerged a spring. It came to be known as Tirsar, another sacred place for the followers of Sikhism.

A holy shrine doesn’t require a special time period to be visited. People can visit Gurudwara Shri Manji Sahib on any day to seek the blessings of the Guru. Doing the sewa on Gurupurab or any day is considered as auspicious.
