Baba Garib Sthan Mandir is a famous and historic Hindu temple in Bihar. This temple stands in the region of Muzaffarpur and enshrines Lord Shiva. 3) According to a famous tale, a woodcutter discovered this Shivalinga when his axe accidentally hit the Shivalinga that began to bleed. The scars are still present on the Shivalinga.
4) The others tale also narrate the miracles of Lord Shiva like assuming the human form to help his devotees and a huge snake attending the aarti on a daily basis.
5) The previous structure has been replaced with a new one built using marble.
