Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall is an ancient tourist-cum-historical site in Nalanda. This place was constructed in the memory of the Chinese traveler-scholar, Hiuen Tsang. He visited Nalanda for studying Buddhism. He stayed for 12 years and gathered a lot of knowledge related to Buddhism during the rule of the Gupta Dynasty.

Though Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall welcomes its visitors throughout the year, October-March is considered as the best time for visiting the site. People can witness the compositions of Hiuen Tsang that are ages old. Many Buddhist monks often visit and gather in the hall for daily meditations.
