Jail where the King Bimbisara's was detained and put in captivity by his son Ajatshatru, lies in the Rajgir city of Bihar. Right at the northern side of the jail also lies the beautiful Maniyar Math. It is widely known that King Bimbisara decided to spend the rest of his life in the Bimbisara's Jail. Location of the jail provided king Bimbisara a perfect view of Griddhakuta Hill, from where he was able to Lord Buddha going atop the hill for meditation.
