Separating the Gulf of Mannar from Palk Strait, Adam's Bridge is a long chain of the limestone shoals that connect Rameswaram Island to Mannar Island. This bridge is also known by the name of Rama Setu, the famous mythological bridge that was constructed by Lord Rama's army of Vanaras to reach Lanka.
