Tagore Hill is one of the famous tourist attractions located in Ranchi. This hill is associated with Jyotiradityanath Tagore, a renowned playwright, freedom fighter, and Rabindranath Tagore's elder brother. According to the history, it is said that Jyotiradityanath Tagore visited this place and was intrigued by the serenity of this location. He built a small home and named it Shanti Dham where he used to pen down the plays. Today, Shanti Dham is frequently visited by people.

Tagore Hill, presently, serves as a trekking destination for novice trekkers. People visit this site throughout the year. However, the authorities do not allow visiting the hill during a heavy downpour.
