Rakcham

Rakcham, Sangla does not have any Aiport of a railway station. Even some years ago, this place didn’t even have any bus stop. Kalka Railway station in Shimla is the nearest railway station of Rakcham. It is around 206 km away. The nearest airport is in Jubberhatti and known as Shimla airport which is 253 km away from the Rakcham. To reach this place directly, the visitors can avail the cab facility directly from the airport of the stations. Using roadways, you can reach the place easier and faster. It is accessible through roadways from all other towns and villages nearby. The closest town of Rakcham is Sangla which is located in the lap of Baspa Valley and it around 11 km away at a distance from Rakcham.

There are several HRTC buses that ply between the places in Sangla and Chitkul and take a fault in Rakcham. Twice a day you will get these buses covering the distance from one place to another. If by any chance you miss the government bus, you will get private buses from the village. In a few years, the roadways have improved and are still improving today.
