Seoni is an alluring township located in Madhya Pradesh. It is well-known for boasting the famous deciduous forests that were the inspiration for the notable writer Rudyard Kipling. His novel 'The Jungle Book' was inspired these green woods and they were depicted as a rainforest where the memorable creatures of fiction series resided.
Fed by the fresh waters of Wainganga, Seoni is elevated at a height of 2,005 feet above the sea level. It covers an entire area of 8758 sq. km. The larger portion of Seoni is cloaked with the scenic surroundings of valleys and forests. The climate of Seoni is classified as tropical. It receives an adequate amount of rainfall with an average of 600 mm. the average temperature during the summers is 35°C and 20°C during the winters.
There are many tourists attraction in Seoni. The Pench Tiger Reserve, Wainganga Ghats and, the alluring Satpura Hills are visited by a large number of the people amid the year.
