Ledo is a serene place that lies in the Margherita sub-division of the Tinsukia district of Assam (India). The place has witnessed growth along the historic 430 km long Stilwell Road that touches three nations viz., India, China, and Myanmar. North-East Indian states get a major connectivity through the Stilwell Road. The foundation stone of the 430 km long Stilwell Road was laid during the Second World War by British General Vinegar Joe Stillwell. Since then, it serves as a major connecting road.
