Literally translating to the World Peace Pillar, this monument was constructed by the collaboration of the Indian & Japanese Government in the 1960s. The birth and mahaparinirvana anniversaries of Buddha are the apt times for witnessing the charm and divinity at Vishwa Shanti Stupa in Vaishali. The pagoda remains open throughout the day as special prayers are conducted by the monks. On other days, the place is opened from 9 am to 5 pm.
