Varkala has some different options to explore as a tourist. There are temples, beaches, lakes and forts.
Beaches: The Varkala Beach or Papanasam Beach is a very prominent beach in Kerala which is good for swimming and paragliding. Edava Beach is another one, apt for sun bathing.
