When travelling to Amman with Kids, Children’s Museum can’t be given a miss. Though named as a museum, the place is more of a fun learning center where children of age 14 years or below can have an exciting time of play, discovery and exploration.
What’s inside?
The Children’s Museum in Amman has a fascinating display of 150 interactive indoor and outdoor exhibits. All these things are hands-on and children are not barred from touching them. It houses a library, an art studio, a multipurpose hall, outdoor gardens and play areas, a gift shop, toddler’s area, a restaurant and even a birthday room, in case you want to throw a fun-cum-educational birthday party for you child.
Learning through Interactive Programs
Throughout the year events and programs are held at the museum for children to participate in. These include Independence Carnival, Earth Week, Eid Al Fitr and Adha, Christmas, Labor Day etc. During these programs, they get to explore their skills for arts like drawing or dancing and developing new things from given waste material. Occasionally, workshops are also held for honing their skills. All these programs involve games and other interesting activities to promote real-life learning.
