W National Park is spread over 10,000 sq. km which includes parts of three countries that are Burkina Faso, Niger and Benin. It is an important national park of West Africa. The name of the park has been given after its shape that is of a W. W National Park was enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1996.
