Agra is a city in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state. It’s home to the iconic Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built for the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal (who died in childbirth in 1631). The imposing main building features a massive dome and intricately carved white marble inlaid with precious stones. This is set behind a reflecting pool inside a courtyard defined by 4 minarets.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Agra Railway Station

  Arrive Agra Railway Station and visit in Agra.
  
  Taj Mahal & Red Fort with Marbal Bazar and later transfer to hotel.
  
  Overnight in hotel.
  
  The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Maha.
