Day 1 : Bhubaneswar - Puri - Konark Dance Festival - Puri
Arrival at bhubaneswar airport, meet & assistance later drive to puri,k into hotel fresh up then drive to konark the world heritage site, fine specimen of kalingan school of architecture dedicated to sun god Surya. In the evening see the classical dance festival on the open auditorium with the back ground suntemle. Selected famous dancers from all over india participate on this event, after the dance back to hotel at puri & overnight.
Day 2 : Puri sight seeing - dance festival- puri
Early morning visit the fisherman village where you can see hundreds of boats going & coming back from sea, photogenic activities, visit their village back to hotel for breakfast. Later walk in the bylanes of hindu heart centre Puri around Jagannath temple to experience devotion of piligrms later see this temple from roof terrace as non hindus are not allowed to enter temple complex. Visit the traditonal potters lane where potters make earthen pots for the temple later visit the folk painting village at Raghurajpur where you can see the patta paintings & palm leaf engravings, interact with the artistists later again drive to konark to witness very interesting dance festival & overnight at puri
Day 3 : puri- diamond triangle- Bhitarkanika N.P.
Drive to budhist excavation centre at lilitgiri, ratnagiri & udaygiri popularly known as diamond triangle, where you can see numerous budhist stupas ( chotens), basement of monasteries, rare Mahayana budhist sculptures Later drive to bhitarkanika national park famous for esturine crocodiles with mangrove forest overnight in tent/ cottage
Day 4 : Bhitarkanika – Dhenkanal palace
post breakfast entry formalities later mechanized boat ride on different creeks to see estuarine crocodiles , mass nesting forest & nature walk to spot wild animals. Post lunch drive to dhenanal & overnight palace dinner with royal family of dhenkanal.
Day 5 : Joranda sadhu- dhenkanal palace
morning drive to joranda the famous unique sect of hindus who doesn’t believe on idol worshiping. You can see the real sadhus wearing the bark of the trees ,does n’t have any kind of materialistic attachment. See their prayer & ineract with sadhus overnight at Palace
Day 6 : dhenkanal- nuaptana- Bhubaneswar
Check out from palace drive to nuapatna the weaving village where you can see weaving with a special design called “ikat” better known as tie & dye process later drive to Bhubaneswar, check into hotel later visit the 2nd century BC rock cut caves at khandagiri & udaygiri jain caves. Overnight Bhubaneswar.
Day 7 : Bhubaneswar sight seeing
Morning post breakfast visit the ancient temples of Bhubaneswar like parsurameswar, mukteswar, lingaraj , Rajarani temple. See the hindu ritual activities near bindu sagar tank later drive to hirapur on the outskirt of bhubaneswar to see the unique tantrik temple popularly known as 64 yogini temple, on the way back visit the 2nd century BC Ashokan rock edict on the bank of river Daya, overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 8 : Bhubaneswar - mangalajodi - Gopalpur
Post breakfast drive to olasing, the weavers village where you can see weaving of silk saree & scarfs later drive to mangalajodi on the outskirt of chilika lake( the biggest brackish water lake of Asia), go through a koyak boat on the lake to see the bird life near to their habitat. Contine driving to Gopalpur & overnight.
Day 9 : Gopalpur- chandragiri- Rayagada
Morning drive to chandragiri enroute Taptapani the hot sulpher spring. At chandragiri visit the tibetan settlement ,budhist monastery & chortens. Launch & dive through semi tropical rain forest towards Rayagada, on the way visit the desia kondh tribal villages. Overnight at Rayagada.
Day 10 : Rayagada- Puttasing- Rayagada
Post morning breakfast drive to puttasing hill , the territory of Lanjiya souras. You can see the weekly maket of souras commence only on Monday later visit their villages see the idtal painting on their kitchen & see the traditional old lady with tattoos on their faces & wooden ornaments on their earlobe evening back to hotel.
Day 11 : Rayagada- Bisamkatak- Rayagada
This day drive to dukum the colourful weekly market of desia kondhas later visit the tradional crafts village at jhigidi where you can see making of bronze tribal jewellary by lost wax method later visit the tradional desia kondh villages , overnight Rayagada
Day 12 : Rayagada- Chhatikona- Desia Cottage
Day Morning drive to chhatikona to visit the weekly market of Dongariya kondhas who were once infamous for human sacrifice, now the substitute is water buffalow. Dongariyas are horticulturist, strong in their traditions, marriage by dormitory system, their supreme diety is mother earth. Photography in this market is prohibited. Later drive to Lamtaput enroute visit kuvi kondh village overnight in desia cottage very close to gadaba tribal village with an ethnic ambience.
Day 13 : Bonda market & gadaba villages
Morning drive to onkudelli the most interesting market of Bonda/ Gadaba & didayee weekly market with prior permission & photography is prohibited. 12000 bondas live in the bondhills are isolated till date due to geographical terrain. They speak a different language called remo belongs to austo Asiatic language group. Bonda ladies with shaven head cover their nudity with colourful beads & ornaments . The bonda men with short height always go out with bow & arrow. The group is aggressive. You can see different county side alcohols in the market. Later visit the gadaba tribal villages
Day 14 : Desia- Kunduli- Visakhapatnam
Drive to kunduli , one of the largest weekly market of rana, Paroja & mali tribal market , later visit the tribal museum at koraput & jagannth temple post launch drive to visakhapatnam & Overnight at Visakhapatnam.
Day 15 : Vizag apt drop to connect
Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Hyderabad for international connection.
