In 1959, following the Lhasa rebellion, Dalai Lama, the Tibetan political and spiritual leader, fled to India along with 10,000 refugees. When the refugees arrive in India, they were allowed to settle in Dharamshala, the former British summer capital. In 1960, they former a government in exile. With the Dalai Lama Tour, we endeavors to bring you face to face with the Tibetan Buddhist culture and its values.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Dharamshala

  Arrive Dharamsala Bus Station. On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
  
  Dinner in the hotel.
  
  Overnight in Dharamshala.

• Day 2 : In Dharamshala

  After Breakfast , we take you to Bhagsu Nag Temple, then We visit Norbulingka Institute which is perhaps one of its best in the world. The institute has its own temple, Museum, Meditation Hall, One thousand, one hundred and seventy-three images of the Buddha decorate the forty-four foot high temple hall. Visit Dalai Lama Temple, afternoon enjoy a walk along the mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts.

  Overnight in Dharamshala.

• Day 3 : Dharamshala – Palampur

  After Breakfast , we will take you to Palampur, visit tea garden, Palampur city, Tapovan, Mata Chamunda Devi Temple. Evening return to Dharamshala.

• Day 4 : Depart Dharamshala

  After Breakfast Transfer to Bus stop or airport for onward/return journey.
