Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Airport / Pinnawala / Sigiriya

  Greetings & welcome by our representative on arrival at the airport & transfer to Sigiriya.
  
  Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
  The department of wildlife conservation established Pinnawala Elephant orphanage to afford care and protection to orphaned Elephant & Elephant babies in Sri Lanka forests and around. Visit elephant bath & milk feed for elephant babies in Pinnawala, Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya.
  
  UNESCO World Heritage Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress
  Sigiriya rock was a royal citadel for nearly twenty years. This great exciting site is nearly one hectare in extent. The rock fortress in the shape of a lion is a masterpiece of architecture. Very famous throughout the world for the ruins of palace in top of the rock , frescoes on it, Advance water system and gardening. Enjoy Elephant back safari in Sigiriya.

Other places of interest are the old Parliament in Fort, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple(Gangarama temple), residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall - BMICH, an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.
