It's divided by the Lachung River. The village is home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, surrounded by apple orchards. Nearby, the Yumthang Valley's Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary protects many species of rhododendron. Namchi is a district headquarters of South Sikkim and lies 78 km from Gangtok. One can enjoy stunning views of Mt. Khangchendzonga range and Rangit valley from this beautiful place that invokes inner peace, solace, and peace of mind in visitors.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Siliguri - Gangtok

  Guest will be received by our official at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Gangtok (140km/4hrs). This is an exclusive tour i.e. non sharing basis - A perfect destination for tourist. On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 2 : Gangtok

  After breakfast ready to for Sightseeing, Permits are made one day prior to visit. This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours. Start driving at 08:00am from hotel, permit collect from Sikkim Tourism center, Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake & New Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty, Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place – From here you can visit Nathula pass-Indochina border (optional cost-depends on permit) Back to hotel. Evening free to stroll /walk around M G Road or the Local Market. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 3 : Gangtok - Lachung

  Pick up from Gangtok hotel around 10:00am. Vehicle will collect the permit from Vajra stand, Sikkim Tourism Centre. Start driving to Lachung via Chungthang. Sightseeing at Singhik view point, Seven Sister water falls. On arrival at Lachung check in to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay at Lachung. (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)

• Day 4 : Lachung - Gangtok

  After breakfast proceed to Yumthung Valley visit (locate 11,700 ft high altitude).You can visit Zero Point (locate 15,500 ft high altitude) - optional cost, on spot payment only (if permit allow). Back to Gangtok by evening. Recheck in Gangtok hotel. Overnight at Gangtok.
