Agra is best known for the Taj Mahal (17th century), designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983. A complex mausoleum, the Taj Mahal is often considered to be the world’s best example of Mughal architecture. Mussoorie, Queen of the Hills, located some 290 km north of New Delhi, is among the most popular hill stations of the country. It is a captivating paradise for leisure travellers and honeymooners. A perfect summer resort and a major educational and cultural centre has been rolled into one hub.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : DELHI-MUSSOORIE(282 KMS / 8 HOURS)

  Pick up from Delhi and depart to Mussoorie & check in at your hotel (Enroute Lunch at your own cost). Evening at leisure. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Mussoorie.

  After breakfast excursion to Dhanaulti which is 33 kms away and to the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi, climbing upto 9700 feet / 2940 meters. Deodar and Pine Trees, beautiful valleys, snow capped mountains. (Lunch at your own cost) Also visit the famous Kemtey fall, evening enjoy at mall road, back to the hotel. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at Hoel in Mussoorie.

  After breakfast drive towards Dhanaulti.which is 25 kms away from Mussoorie on Mussoorie - Chamba Road. On arrival check in to hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Dhanaulti. Dhanaulti is situated at an altitude of 2286 mts above sea level. Dhanaulti is the launching point for numerous treks into the snow - capped Himalayas (Lunch at your own cost). Later Proceed to Chamba, explore local view of Chamba, It has an overlooking view of spectacular snow capped mountains of Himalayas. Proceed to visit Tehri Dam (One of the largest Dam of India), evening back to Mussoorie. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mussoorie.

• Day 5 : DELHI – AGRA (200 KMS / 04 HRS)

  After breakfast drive to Agra en-route visit the Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Later continue drive to Agra. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Akbarabad, as Agra was known during the Mughal era, is home to some of the most magnificent Mughal architectures. Situated on the banks of river Yamuna, the monumental beauty of Agra has inspired countless people around the world (Lunch at your own cost). This third largest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh is home to three UNESCO world heritage sites (Lunch at your own cost). Later Proceed to Visit to the world - famous Taj Mahal - or literally "Crown of Palaces" was built by Shah Jehan to immortalize the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died tragically in 1631. After that visit, the Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and 1573. It housed both the presidential Palaces of the Royal family, and the military quarters. Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Agra.
