Package Overview

This is the log of a memorable trip to a mesmerising corner of India – the ancient Silk Route that used to connect Lhasa in Tibet via the Jelep La Pass to India and onwards to the rest of the world. In the Travel circuit, this territory is marked as East Sikkim and has been opened to tourists relatively recently. Even now most of the route is restricted area due its international boundary with China (Tibet) and the route is controlled by the Indian Army named as ‘Cloud Warriors’. Trade was being continued through this route until 1962 when war broke out between India and China thus leading to the closure of the route.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Pick Up from Airport/railway Station and Move Towards Sillery Via Kalimpong. Photography of Sunset from Sillery After Lunch.

• Day 2 :

  Witness the Changing Colours On Mt. Kanchenjungha & Himalayan Range from Resort.enjoy the Scintillating Beauty of Sillery in the Evening with the Back-drop of Colorful Sunset. Witnessing the Serene and Mystic Night Stay of Sillery.

• Day 3 :

  After Breakfast Move for Zuluk Covering Rangli (for Inner Line Permit), Kuekhola Water Falls, Lingtam, Nimachen, Padamchen and Night Stay At Zuluk.

• Day 4 :

  After Breakfast Start for Completing the Silk Route Trail Covering Adi Baba Dham, Tukla Valley, Kupup, Elephant Lake, Golf Course, Jelep La Pass View Point and Overnight Stay At Lungthung/ Gnathang .

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 5 :

  After Breakfast proceed for Ramdhura/Thanghulam via Zuluk & Rangli. Overnight stay at Ramdhura/Thanghulam.

• Day 6 :

  Start for Njp/air Port Via Kalimpong After Breakfast.
