Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and Full Day at rest for Acclimatization

  Approx Distance - 7 kms
  Travel Time: 1 hour
  
  Arrival at Leh 3505 meters/11567 feet. Received by our representative
  and transfer to Hotel. Complete rest for the first half. After lunch if suitable visit sun set famous Shanti Stupa (a Japanese Pagoda built for world peace by Indian based Japanese monks and was inaugurated by His Holiness Dalai Lama in 1985). Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

• Day 2 : Leh City Tour

  After Breakfast proceed to Indus -Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the car defy Garivity) and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of Kargil War Memorabilia) Dinner & Overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh.

• Day 3 : Leh to Nubra - Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

  Approx Distance: 160 km
  Travel Time: 9 hour 10 min
  
  After early breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardongla Pass (18,380ft) the world's highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier, the views from the top of the pass are amazing. Visit Deskit Monastery (118kms) founded by Lama SherabZangpo in 1420 A.D. Check inn at Hotel/Camp and after that we will visit Hundar village (7kms from Deskit) and Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in sand dunes at Hundar Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra

• Day 4 : Nubra to Turtuk Village - Day Excursion

  Approx Distance: 170 km
  Travel Time: 10 Hours
  
  In the Morning after breakfast Proceed to Turtuk day Excursion, It was under Pakistan's control until the 1971 Indo-Pak war where it came under Indian governance, recently opened for tourists. Turtuk offers much different landscape and cultural orientation than rest of the Nubra Valley. You can see apricot trees loaded around the entire village with views closer to Karakorum Range. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra

• Day 5 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok

  Approx Distance: 200 km
  Travel Time: 6 Hours
  
  After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik (Pangong). It's a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok River, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village.
  
  It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong Lake and enjoy your day at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Pangong
  
  Note: I would like to update you that Pangong is Village which is far flung areas with no electricity. Gensets cannot be used in the nights due to Environmental concerns. That is the reason why there is no intercom, heater in the room. For electricity solar panels & inverters are used. It is very tough to operate in Pangong given the adverse condition. Moreover mobile network is also very rare at Pangong.

• Day 6 : Pangong to Leh - Transfer & Sightseeing

  Approx Distance: 230 km
  Travel Time: 7 Hours
  
  Leh After breakfast drive to Leh enroute chang la pass and also enroute visit Hemis Monastery situated (45km west of Leh). Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. After that we continue to drive through series of Buddhist stupa (chortens) to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. 3 Idiots School Campus Sindhu Darshan visit. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh
