Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : (8 Nov ) : Trivandrum - Kanyakumari (85 Km-1 -1/2 hrs)

  Welcome to God’s Own Country. Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Trivandrum Airport and Later proceed to Kanyakumari the land of virgin goddess. Kanyakumari an important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the Amman Temples – a symbol of unity and sanctity – dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanyakumari. To its South – East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a blend of all architectural styles of India. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Resembling central Indian Hindu temples in form, the memorial was so designed that on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday (2nd October), the first rays of the sun fall on the exact place where the ashes of the father of the nation were kept., Thiruvalluvar Statue, the memorial statue of Thiruvalluvar is in Kanyakumari. End your day by watching the spectacular sunset there. Over Night stay at the Hotel/Resort.

• Day 2 : (9 Nov ) : - Kanyakumari - Rameshwaram ( 290kms - 5hrs)

  Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Rameshwaram, .the temple town where Lord Ram struggled for Sita. This is the spiritual place from where Lord Rama built a bridge across the sea to rescue his wife Sita, from her abductor, Ravana. This is also the place where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to cleanse away the sin of killing Ravana. Other interesting places are Agnitheertham which is located at a few meters from the Ramanathaswamy temple. It is believed to be located at the same spot where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva. Dhanushkodi is another interesting place where Vibishana, brother of Ravana of the Ramayanam, surrendered before Lord Rama at this spot. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort

• Day 3 : (10 Nov ) : - Rameshwaram – Madurai(160Kms - 3hrs)

  Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later, proceed for a half day city sightseeing tour of Madurai which is called the `Athens of the East' because of the way myth meets life here. It is almost synonymous with the famed Meenakshi Temple the nucleus of the temple is older than the Madurai city. The Meenakshi temple complex at Madurai is not only an architectural marvel but also the epitome of Indian culture and civilization. Explore the rest of the day at your own. • Day 4 : (11 Nov ) : - Madurai - Munnar ( 153 Kms - 4Hrs)

  Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast.Later proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. On the way you can also watch the lovely waterfalls in Cheeyappara and colourful flowers in Blossom Garden. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. • Day 5 : (12 Nov ) :- Munnar - Alleppey(165 km - 5 hrs)

• Day 6 : (13 Nov ) :- Alleppey – Kovalam (165 Kms - 5hrs)

  Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Kovalam beach. Kovalam is known as the "Paradise of the South". This dreamland is an evergreen, serene, pleasant climatic and enticing beach destination. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore on your own to see how the everlasting sea touches the everlasting sky. Kovalam is the place where one can see the golden sand at the day time & silver sand in the night.
