Experience 6-hours of bliss in the famous Chobe National Park with a Boat Cruise & Game Drive trip. Guests do a boat cruise and then 4×4 in in specially adapted open vehicles. This is a unique opportunity for quests of the Chobe National Park to experience some of the best game viewing in Africa close up.

Chobe is renowned for large herbivores – like buffalo and elephant – wading in the water and having a drink. Puku and lechwe are often seen on the island and kudu, impala and water buck are also common on the banks of the river.

The Boat Cruise & Game Drive trip typically starts with a Chobe River cruise into the park, with an opportunity to see a host of waders and water birds. You can also expect the ever-present crocodiles and lurking hippos.

A boat cruise is the ideal opportunity to relax, sit back and see the animals come to you. They are less disturbed by the sound of a boat and more relaxed, as the water is the one place where all the species need to go. Sometimes you can see many species of predators and herbivores at the river together!

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Livingstone to Kasane in Botswana

  Itinerary:
  
  Pick up is at 7:30 am from your lodge or hotel in Livingstone and drive through Kazungula road to Kazungula _Zambia / Botswana boarder.
  
  Activities:
  09:30. The first activity is a boat cruise scheduled to depart at +/- 09h30, boarding a vessel and then traversing along the Chobe River into the Chobe National Park.
  
  Lunch.12:30 pm.After the cruise a satisfying lunch is enjoyed at the Coffee Buzz restaurant or at any other good restaurant within the park.
  
  13;30 pm. Game drive.
  After a one hour lunch break, guests head off on a game drive—getting close to nature with specially adapted open 4 x 4 vehicles.
  
  16:30 pm head home.
  After a 3-hour Safari drive the vehicles return to Kasane for a 16:30 drop off at your lodge in the area, or at the Kazangula border for your transfer to Livingstone.
  Time expected is around 18:00 at your lodge or hotel in Livingstone town.
