This is an experience that offers a guided motorcycle tour through the foothills of Mount Meru up to Mangalia waterfall. Participants get to enjoy the stunning scenery and glimpses of local culture and daily life in typical Tanzanian villages.

Tour duration : 3 hours
Additional 1 hour transfer time (return) for hotels in the downtown/ Arusha city center area
Additional 2.5-3 hours transfer time (return) for hotels in the Moshi area

Day Itinerary

4 Hours : Mangalia Waterfalls

The tour begins with a short trip to a somewhat unlikely site, a Polish cemetery, where visitors will learn about the little known history of some 5,000 refugees who arrived in Tanzania after fleeing Europe during WW2. We then proceed to Mangalia Waterfalls where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters that flow down from Mount Meru. On the way back down we will have a closer look at Tanzanian culture by exploring three villages, Akheri, Patandi and Mavinuni. This is followed by a short stop at Lake Duluti, where we will enjoy a drink and the lake view at the end of the tour.

The tour ends at Lake Duluti at 1pm.
