Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  (Optional excursion to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia). Trip along the Georgian Military Road to Kazbegi (160km) by crossing the Greater Caucasus at Jvari Pass (2395m.). On the road a short stop at Ananuri Fortress. Arrive in Kazbegi (1700m). Explore the area and enjoy the views of Mt. Kazbek (5047m). Walk up to Gergeti Sameba Church. Trip to Dariali Canyon. Return Tbilisi.
