Package Overview

This safari has been designed to cater for those looking for the value of a small group itinerary, with the added benefits of spending more time in the Serengeti, the experience of a luxury tented camp, and a flight out of the Serengeti back to Arusha.

Combined with accommodation on the Ngorongoro Crater rim and game viewing in Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks, it really does provide the highlights of Tanzania's northern circuit.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Arusha

  On arrival at Kilimanjaro International today you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel, to spend your first night in Tanzania.
• Day 2 : Tarangire National Park

  This morning your safari will begin as you join your group and drive to Tarangire National Park where you will spend the next 2 nights.
• Day 3 : Tarangire National Park

  You will experience morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire.
• Day 4 : Tarangire - Lake Manyara

  You will drive to the Great Rift Valley escarpment this morning, and following lunch at your lodge you will spend the afternoon on a game drive in the wonderfully scenic Lake Manyara National Park.
• Day 5 : Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater

  You will drive to Gibbs Farm this morning for a tour of the working coffee farm. There is an optional nature walk to the waterfalls and elephant caves before continuing to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater to spend the next 2 nights.
• Day 6 : Ngorongoro Crater

  A major highlight awaits you this morning as you drive down the steep walls of the Crater to the floor below to spend the day on a game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch surrounded by wildlife.
• Day 7 : Ngorongoro - Serengeti

  Continuing west you will carry on to the Serengeti National Park, stopping off at Olduvai Gorge and a Masai village en route. After spending the afternoon on a game drive you will head to your luxury tented camp where you will spend the next 3 nights.
• Day 8 : Serengeti National Park

  These 2 days will be spent on morning and afternoon game drives on the Serengeti plains.
• Day 9 : Serengeti National Park

  These 2 days will be spent on morning and afternoon game drives on the Serengeti plains.
• Day 10 : Day of Departure

  This morning you will catch a flight out of the Serengeti back to Arusha, where you will have lunch and the use of a day room before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International in time for your departure flight.
  
  Another option is to fly directly from the Serengeti to Kigali (Rwanda) in order to add on an exciting gorilla trekking adventure.
