Package Overview

A Vietnam train travel with 2 legs by train along the East coast of Vietnam. 1 internal flight is also included to shorten the transfer within 10 Days along this long country. Enjoy all beauties of Vietnam with main tourist spots, UNESCO world heritages, 3 main cities Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Da Nang and the "kingdom of caves" Phong Nha.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : HO CHI MINH CITY – WELCOME DINNER (D)

  Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh city airport, you meet our tour guide then private transfer to your hotel to check in.
  
  In the evening, you enjoy welcome Vietnamese set-menu dinner. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

• Day 2 : MY THO – BEN TRE (MEKONG DELTA) (B,L) – Group tour

  After breakfast, at 8:30, the tour guide and sharing bus driver pick you up from your hotel. You depart for Mekong delta. After 2 hours driving, you arrive at My Tho city. Overview floating fish houses by boat. Motorized boat ride to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) of Ben Tre province. The province is home of coconut, you can buy handicraft made from coconut trees.
  Around 12:00 AM: Have lunch on the island with delicious local dishes.
  After lunch is the time to explore amazing Mekong canals. Motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre province. Visit orchards, bee-keeping house, enjoy honey tea, seasonal tropical fruit and traditional music.
  Rowing-boat ride along small mangrove palm creek (mangrove palm or Nypa-frutican known as "dừa nước" in Vietnam)
  See coconut candy production process. Around 3:00 PM: Get on the bus to come back Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back drop by Mekong Rest Stop for short break.
  Drive back to the hotel for overnight. Overnight in hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

• Day 3 : HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR – FLIGHT TO DA NANG – HOI AN (B,L)

  Morning visit some famous sites in Ho Chi Minh city center: Reunification Palace, Notre Dame cathedral, Central Post Office.
  After lunch, you take flight to Da Nang city in Central Vietnam. After 1-hour flight, you meet our driver in Da Nang, then private transfer to Hoi An old quarter UNESCO world heritage.
  Check in a hotel inside the old quarter for your convenient walk around. Overnight in Hoi An.

• Day 4 : HOI AN – DA NANG – TRAIN TO DONG HOI (B,L)

  Train: Reunification train code SE4 from Da Nang 14:13 to Dong Hoi 19:37
  This morning, you will walk with our tour guide to visit famous sites as Japanese pagoda bridge, Tan Ky ancient house, Fukian assembly hall, Yaly tailor shop. Enjoy lunch with local food in Hoi An.
  Afternoon private transfer to Da Nang train station. Take the day-train (soft-seats with air-condition) to Dong Hoi along a scenic road with 1 side of Truong Son mountain, 1 side of Pacific ocean.
  Private pick-up at Dong Hoi train station airport by our tour guide in Dong Hoi, then transfer to the city center. Check in and overnight in hotel in Dong Hoi.

• Day 5 : DONG HOI – PHONG NHA CAVES – PARADISE CAVES – DONG HOI (B,L) – Group tour

  07:45 to 8:00am Our shuttle bus and tour guide will pick you up at hotel in Dong Hoi, you will explore the most impressive Phong Nha caves (50 km about the city, 45 minutes driving). After 25 minutes on boat, you will arrive Phong Nha cave, take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called as water cave, is famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the "Lion", the "Fairy Caves", the "Royal Court", and the "Buddha". 12:00 Lunch at local restaurant in Phong Nha village.
  13:00 Visit Paradise cave - the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha - Ke bang National Park’s core zone, 25km about Phong Nha cave, 75 km about Dong Hoi and 1h20 minutes driving) at the rest of the day.
  17:15 Back to Dong Hoi city. Overnight in Dong Hoi city.

• Day 6 : DONG HOI – TRAIN TO HANOI (B,D)

  Train: Reunification train code SE6 from Dong Hoi 09:16 to Hanoi 19:50 (Shared Soft-sleepers cabin with air-condition)
  Morning private transfer with our guide to Dong Hoi train station (with tour guide). You take the day-train to Hanoi.
  After 12-hour train, you meet our local guide in Hanoi then transfer to your hotel to check in.

• Day 7 : HANOI CITY TOUR – WATER PUPPET SHOW (B,L) – Group tour

  Pick you up at your hotel. Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum , President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house,one Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. Enjoy Vietnamese lunch.
  Afternoon you visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Bat Trang cenramic village. Enjoy water puppet show, a living portrait of Vietnames culture and history.
  Overnight in Hanoi.

• Day 8 : HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B,L,D) – Group tour

  8:00 – 8:30am Pick up by cruise tour guide at your hotel lobby. Morning transfer by cruise’s shuttle bus from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong bay.
  12h30: Arrive at Halong habour, transfer to the Cruise by tender, enjoy welcome drinks & check-in your cabin.
  - Lunch is served while cruising through Halong bay toward Bai tu long bay, passing: Ba hang fishing villages, Dinh Huong islets, Fighting Cock rock.
  Do kayaking around the bay. You will have got around 45 minutes to explore the tranquil bay yourself
  17h15: Back to the Cruise, cruising to Drum cave for docking and sleeping.
  Time for relaxing afternoon, make the most of sunbathing on deck. Taking picture on the way... Enjoy the small party with fresh fruit and Vietnamese tea.
  19h00: Dinner is served in the restaurant.
  21h00: Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, dancing, karaoke; watch movie or enjoy night fishing… Relax and spend a romantic night on cruise.

  Start your day with Taichi exercises or a photo hunt. 07h00: Breakfast, coffee and tea and served while cruising ahead to Halong Bay. Passing many beautiful islets on the bay: Head man's face islet, Saddle horse islet, Fairy lake, drum cave, Virgin cave
  08h00: Visit splendid Surprise (Sung Sot) Cave. This is one of the most beautiful grotto in Halong bay. You will feel surprise about imposing of stalagmites, stalactites and many legend stories about that
  09h15: Back to the main boat. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Keep sailing back to the Habour through the waters and passing many beautiful islets and island on the Bai tu long Bay.
  10h30: Vietnamese Cooking Class.
  11h00: An early lunch is served.
  12h00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew
  12h45: Return from Halong to Hanoi. Around 17h00: Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
